Retirement Board News Updated Monthly
Our retirement board achieved the 5th highest earnings on our investments in 2007, compared to the 78 retirement systems within Massachusetts that control their own investments! We came just short of the State's Pension Reserve Investment Trust (PRIT), which earned 16.2%. The final 2007 return figure for ERRB is 15.8%

The Essex Regional Retirement Board would like to thank the following individuals for their years of public service. They were all retired at the August 2008 Board meeting.
- Philip Gauthier retired from the Town of Manchester with over 40 years of public service.
- Kenneth Sucharski retired from the Town of Manchester with over 36 years of public service.
- Joyce Kippin retired from the Town of Ipswich with over 29 years of public service.
- Susan Good retired from the Manchester-Essex Regional School District with over 22 years of public service.
- Linda Sue Stonecipher retired from the Town of North Andover with over 14 years of public service.
- Robert Timpani retired from the Town of Hamilton with 10 years of public service.
